MICHAEL BLOCH is a filmmaker, editor and musician living in New York City. He has collaborated on numerous commercial campaigns in the US and Europe, always bringing a keen sense for storytelling and an inventive musical sensibility to his work. As a filmmaker he has worked alongside some of New York's most interesting visual artists, including The Open Ended Group and photographer Rosalind Solomon. Collaborations have premiered at Lincoln Center, Austin Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo, EMPAC and the Bruce Silverstein Gallery. As a musician, he has toured the world as a founding member of the acclaimed band Here We Go Magic, has earned a Grammy Award as a recorded instrumentalist, and has lent his musicianship to albums with the likes of The War on Drugs, and producer Nigel Godrich. Michael is fluent in Spanish and French, and is a very nice guy.
